Services

Practical help, professional oversight, and a steady local presence.

Every engagement is scoped in writing, conservative by default, and coordinated with the attorneys, advisors, and family members already involved.

01

Financial Management

Keep the household running, the bills paid, and the paperwork in order — with a single, accountable person watching it all.

  • Day-to-day bill paying and budgeting
  • Bank, brokerage, and insurance coordination
  • Organizing statements, records, and important documents
  • Acting as agent under a Power of Attorney
  • Clear monthly reports family and advisors can actually read

02

Care Coordination & Advocacy

An informed, calm presence at appointments and family meetings — so a loved one is never navigating the medical world alone.

  • Accompaniment to medical and specialist appointments
  • Coordination with doctors, in-home caregivers, and facilities
  • Hospital admissions and rehabilitation support
  • Regular updates to family members near and far
  • Help making sense of options during a health change

03

Trustee & Fiduciary Services

Steady, documented help administering a trust or estate — supporting family trustees or stepping in directly when needed.

  • Successor trustee support after a death or incapacity
  • Serving as trustee or co-trustee where appropriate
  • Gathering assets, closing accounts, and settling affairs
  • Coordination with attorneys and CPAs through administration
  • Records prepared for legal review and final accounting

04

Emergency & Crisis Support

When something happens suddenly — a fall, a hospitalization, a new diagnosis — we can be on the ground quickly.

  • Rapid response after an unexpected hospitalization
  • Securing the home, mail, and finances during a crisis
  • Briefing out-of-area family on what is happening
  • Bridging the first weeks of a new care arrangement
  • Coordinating with attorneys when documents need to be activated

Scope & disclaimers

Alder Fiduciary Services provides non-legal fiduciary support, financial management, and care coordination. We do not provide legal advice, tax advice, or investment advice, and we do not prepare tax returns or manage investment portfolios.

Where California's Professional Fiduciaries Bureau licensing applies, licensed Professional Fiduciary services will be offered upon completion of that licensing. Until then, engagements are limited to activities permitted for non-licensed roles — most often as agent under a Power of Attorney, in support of an existing trustee, or in a coordination capacity.

Alder Life Management is a related future brand. It is not currently operating and is referenced here only for clarity.
